About Attilio Sepe Quartet
The
band was built during Attilio Sepe's stay in Belgium, where the Italian
pianist Marco Marcelletti, the Belgian double bassist Emanuel Van
Mieghem and the Portuguese drummer Diogo Alexandre live. This cultural
variety translates into a band with multiple sonic and expressive
possibilities, capable of taking multiple directions and improvisational
risks. The repertoire is varied as well, including both pieces from
composers like Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea and original compositions from
its own members. The band has already performed on various stages in
Belgium and in Italy, also in collaboration with the italian legend of
tenor saxophone, Maurizio Giammarco.
The event will start at 5:00pm at L'Archiduc, Rue Antoine Dansaert 6, 1000 Brusselles, Belgium
